Leviton has announced that they’ve rolled out firmware updates to bring Matter support to their Decora lineup of Wi-Fi Smart Switches and Wi-Fi Smart Plugs. Using the My Leviton app, you will be able to enroll in Leviton’s Matter Early Access Program. From there, you’ll be able to download Matter-certified firmware updates for their 2nd Gen Decora Smart Dimmer Switch (D26HD-1BW), Decora Smart Switch (D215S-1BW), Decora Smart Dimmer Plug (D23LP-1BW), and Decora Smart Plug (D215P-1BW).
Once updated, you’ll be able to connect these products locally to any Matter-enabled smart home platforms like Google Home, Apple Homekit, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings.
Leviton says they will provide Matter updates to additional Decora Smart Wi-Fi 2nd Gen devices later this year.
